Rockstar Games has finally confirmed Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6), the next installment of their open-world gaming franchise. First Trailer of GTA 6 will be released in December 2023.

There were a lot of rumors running on the internet for some time that Rockstar Games would make an official announcement regarding the release of GTA 6 and finally, they did it!
Bloomberg reported that to mark 25 years of Rockstar Games, an announcement could be made by the gaming studio along with a trailer. Well, they were right on point as Rockstar Games finally spilled the details to their fans.
Last year in February, the gaming studio notified that the development of the next GTA installment was “well underway”.
As per some leaked footages and info, GTA 6 will take place in Vice City (a fictional city inspired by Miami).
Initially, the 6th installment of the game might only be available on the gaming consoles just like GTA 5 and later it may be available on the PC as well. Further, there are some speculations that GTA 6 will be a cross-platform game and this will be huge. Cross-platform gaming is one of the most anticipated features of the GTA fans.
A bit about the Tech:- In order to offer realistic kinds of shadows and reflections in the game, Rockstar Games is expected to use Ray Tracing. GTA 6 is already expected to be the largest game by the gaming studio in its installation size. It may be around 105 GB in size.
It will be very interesting to see the kind of response GTA 6 will get on its launch day. This is because in just 24 hours GTA 5 had become the world’s fastest-selling game and helped the studio to make a whopping $800 million (185 million copies).
Considering the hype around this open-world game, it is expected to garner over a billion dollars on its very first day of launching.
